Ginny Abramson is the founder and principal of Peak Potential Consulting, LLC.
Ginny previously was Vice President, Global HR – Associate Experience and Strategy at Carhartt, a leading global workwear company. In this role, she developed and deployed people-focused strategies to ensure alignment with business objectives, while delivering an outstanding associate experience throughout their career journey. Over her 25+ year career at Carhartt, she led various functions, including HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning, Employee Relations, Compensation, and HR Systems.
At Carhartt, Ginny oversaw a team of over 50 HR team members working primarily from the US and Mexico. She has significant experience leading various levels and leading through others (managers of managers).
Ginny holds an MBA from the University of Detroit Mercy (UDM) and a bachelor's degree in business from Siena Heights University. She is a member of UDM’s College of Business Administration Board of Advisors and holds both SPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications. She also earned the Korn Ferry Leadership Architect certificate and completed Coach U’s Core Essentials Coaching Program.
Throughout her career, Ginny has brought innovative solutions and fresh perspectives, demonstrating a passion for leading change. With a strategic mindset, she has worked alongside leaders to develop talent-related strategies to support brand purpose, values, and business objectives.
Her extensive experience, along with her strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, coaching, and problem-solving skills, has made Ginny a trusted consultant for leaders at all levels on needs related to people, talent development and HR services.

My personal journey began as a single mom at 23, determined to reach my full potential. Through hard work and dedication, I found the perfect company and boss to work for and took on increasing responsibilities, eventually leading a team of professionals at a successful corporation. During this time, I put my son through private school and college, earned my MBA, and, along the way, met the love of my life—whom I am now happily married to.
My journey had its challenges, but I learned, adapted, and ultimately achieved my full potential and dreams!
